Elaine is a qualified as a social worker in 1978 and as a Child and Family Psychotherapist in 1994, she also has an Msc in Child Forensic Psychology and Law. As a UKCP registered therapist she has a private practice in Kent where she works closely with everyone in the adoption triangle but particularly helps the children manage their difficulties. Elaine is the Safeguarding Adviser for the Diocese of Canterbury, a job she shares with Simon Tapp. She has been a trainer for Child and Family Training for many years. Elaine lives on Romney Marsh with three English Setters, a flock of rare sheep and rescued chickens.
